Getting home tonight
The subway runs 24 hours a day, every day (MTA). After about 1 a.m. most lines run every 20 minutes, several lines stop, and others change route. Before you head out, check MTA’s planned service changes: overnight work often reroutes lines.
Dashed: no trains between 1 and 5 a.m. on weeknights.

LIRR and Metro-North stop overnight; look up tonight’s last train. PATH runs 24/7 (Port Authority) and the Staten Island Ferry runs around the clock for free, every 30 minutes overnight (NYC DOT timetable). NYC Ferry does not run overnight.
